Hi Everyone!
Outdoor shows are done for the year. I have been enjoying being at the Ann Arbor market Wednesdays & Saturdays when the weather permits. The market is so beautiful with all the colorful produce & fall flowers. Such an exciting place to be even though weather is getting colder and colder and more layers of clothes are needed to stay the day outdoors! The Amish tell me I need to eat more hot peppers to help me stay warm in the winter!
Our Studio Home Show is coming up Saturday, November 14 & Sunday November 15. If you need directions to our studio, give me a call @ 810-631-8221. Hope to see you there or at market!
Wishing you Peace,
Denise
P.S. As always, our work is available for purchase by appointment at our studio.
Below is my Salad Dressing recipe I promised to several people at the Royal Oak Clay and Glass Festival. Enjoy...and as Julia Childs always said: "Bonne Appetite!!"
Denise's Salad Dressing
1 clove garlic smashed and chopped fine
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
2 Tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/4 cup extra virgine olive oil
1 tsp. Worchestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon each dried dill, basil & oregano
Dash burgundy wine (if you have it...just adds a zip!)
Combine ingredients and whisk to moisten. To adjust to your own taste, you can add more lemon juice, red wine vinegar, burgundy, olive oil or Worchestershire sauce. Salt and pepper to taste. Wonderful over romaine lettuce with dried cherries, walnuts, chopped green onion, celery, carrots & gorgonzola blue cheese. Enjoy!
